Rocky Mountain Elk hunts are offered for both rifle or archery hunters. We have several high-quality Montana ranches that are professionally managed for trophy elk. We manage the herds for older age class bulls. All of our ranches offer quality elk hunts. Hunter success is high with most bulls scoring 270-300 B&C. Our premier elk ranch bulls typically score 320-350 B&C.

This is our premier elk hunting destination. The ranch contains 115,000 deeded acres located in the southwest portion of the state. Elevations on the ranch range from 5,000 to 7,000 feet. This is great game country! The herd of 1,500 head of elk has a ratio of 65 bulls per 100 cows, with a large number of trophy bulls available.
Hunters stay on the property in a 5 bedroom, 3 bath lodge. All meals and 1x1 guide service included.In 2020, our 33rd annual hunt produced some outstanding trophies. Hunters can anticipate harvesting bulls from 320-350 B&C. Larger bulls have been harvested.

This ranch is another premier elk hunting destination in Montana. This property contains 23,000 deeded acres and spans two counties.Topography is varied from arid foothill regions to rock cliffs on the south facing slopes. Generally, the property gains in elevation toward the east with the highest point at 7,655 feet. This is a very rugged piece of property. Hunters can anticipate harvesting bulls from 280-320 B&C. Larger bulls have been harvested in the past.
There are 1-2 hunters per week in camp. Hunters stay in a very nicely appointed 2 bedroom, 2 bath lodge. All meals and 1x1 guide service included.

This 18,000 acre ranch is typified by lush river bottoms, low land pastures with willows, foothills covered with big sagebrush and mountains covered in a variety of pine trees. The large elk herd varies from 400-800 head. Hunters can expect to see lots of elk. All meals and 1x1 guide service included. Accommodations are a very comfortable 6 bedroom, 4 bath lodge.

The terrain on this 8,500 ac ranch varies from foothill country with sagebrush and junipers, and from rolling hills and coulees to mountains. The ranch offers easy accesibility. Hunters with stay in "glamping" style wall tents.
The average bull will score 300-350 B&C.

The terrain on this 5,000 ac ranch varies from foothill country with sagebrush, junipers, and big timbered draws to steep and rugged country with dark pockets of timber. The country also opens up with old dry land farm fields that have since been planted with a mix of alfalfa, sainfoin, and grasses that attract the elk and mule deer. Lodging and 2x1 guide service is provided. Hunters stay in town which is approximately 15 minutes from the ranch.
The average bull will score 270-300 B&C. Deer can be harvested at no additional charge.
The ranch terrain is 8,000 ac of mostly high foothill regions with Douglas fir trees, big sage brush and grasslands. Water sources are from springs and dirt stock tanks. Lodging is provided in a rustic 3 bedroom, 2 bath farmhouse. This is 4x1 semi guided hunt best suited to folks who like to hunt on their own. The guide will be there to help retrieve and field dress game. Most hunters will harvest bulls 260-300 B&C. Deer can be harvested at no addtional charge. This hunt is cook on your own.
